24.7.08: Hotshots are leaving for their summer holiday today. We are heading off to Anglesey for a week of competition and then going straight on to the Wirral for another weekend of Competition. At Anglesey we will be running the Hotshots, Hyperdogs and Hit'n'Run teams as well as our team of starter dogs. At the Wirral we will be running 2 new teams, Hot Stuff and Hooligans. The dogs running in these teams will be a mixture of dogs from our usual competing teams and they will be jumping at full height which will be novel as in the usual teams we have a height dog in each which keeps the jumps low.

7.7.08: We will be holding an introduction to flyball session on 9th August from 12-3. If you would like to attend please contact us on info@hotshotsflyball.org.uk for a booking form. To secure a place bookings must be received by 21st July at the latest.

6.7.08: Hotshots and Hit'n'Run both came home from Frimley with 2nd place, both teams raced brilliantly all day and only lost 1 race each. Hotshots were beaten by Shooting Star comets who pushed them to the limit resulting in their fasterst ever time of 19.28 seconds, you can watch the race on our video page.

8.6.08: Well we hoped for better weather and we certainly got it at the Hearing Dogs show. The Hit 'n' Run team ran well all day in division 6 winning 5 of their 6 races, as a few teams were tied on the same number of wins places were decided on times and they came away with 3rd place. Hotshots also raced well in Division 2 on Sunday but the competition was tough which resulted in them winning 2 of their 6 races giving them 5th place. Well done to Pippin and her handler Chris on being presented with their Flyball Dog award (200 points), and also to Mason and his handler Stephanie on their Flyball Dog advanced award (5000 points).

27.5.08: The Hotshots teams spent the bank holiday weekend at Frimley Lodge park in Surrey. Our starter team the Havagos had a great day on Saturday getting 1st place, the usual line up were joined by new boy Kenzo and his handler Sarah and they raced brilliantly. Hotshots raced on Sunday getting 2nd place, they missed out on 1st by 900th's of a second!! The team was joined for the first time by Daisy and her handler Nicola and Diezel with his handler Sunnie, they all put in a great performance. Lastly the Hit 'n' Runs raced on Monday, the weather was terrible so racing had to be abandoned in the afternoon. They had been doing well winning 2 out of 3 races, we are all hoping for better weather next time!

6.5.08: A reminder for everyone that training moves to Wednesday evening from May14th, we will revert to Saturday afternoon in september.

5.5.08: Our starter team, Hotshots Havagos had a great days racing yesterday at Stockbridge. The team worked really well and were rewarded for their efforts by coming away with 2nd place. It was the first tournament for Odie and his handler Richard and they put in a sterling performance so we shall look forward to seeing how they progress in future competitions.
